New Majolica References

Here are two new reference books for those who enjoy the majolica of Griffen, Smith & Hill: a beautifully colored catalog and a history of the most prolific American majolica maker. See wonderful Etruscan pieces, some never pictured before. These are must have references for anyone interested in Victorian pottery.

Majolica Sighting - House Beautiful Magazine

I've spotted some wonderful majolica decorating this charming "Kitchen of the Month" in House Beautiful magazine. See some Palissy ware pieces in the kitchen and other majolica beauties on the table and French buffet and shelf. "It's easy to set an interesting table when there's so much great majolica to work with."
